This return to live musical theatre, following 18 months of darkness, is the inaugural collaboration between Reagle Music Theatre and Friends of Herter Park, the organization which oversees the preservation and continued use of Boston’s historic outdoor amphitheater – once home to the renowned Publick Theatre – located at 1175 Soldiers Field Road.

Two dozen nominations of outstanding actors, directors, designers and ensembles were announced today by The Boston Theater Critics Association for the 36th Annual Elliot Norton Awards, celebrating achievement in Boston theatre.

Pioneer Theatre Company continues its popular 'Concert Version' series with Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights, running for three performances only, March 16 & March 17, 2018, at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre.    Before there was Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda won his first Tony Award for Best Musical with this innovative, uplifting and joyous story depicting life in Washington Heights, New York.

IN THE HEIGHTS is currently playing at THE FULTON THEATRE until April 4, 2017. Under the direction of Bob Cline, the musical stars Diego Klock-Perez (Usnavi), Mili Diaz (Nina), Kalyn West (Vanessa), Daniel Yearwood Benny), and Debra Cardona (Abuela Claudia). The music and lyrics of IN THE HEIGHTS are by a little-known composer, Lin-Manuel Miranda (whom I refer to as 'Shakespeare Nouveau'), and the book by Quiara Alegria Hudes.

It's a hot summer weekend in Washington Heights, brought to Lancaster complete with an electric blackout. Anything can happen in the barrio, and it does.

Written by Hamilton creator and pop culture icon Lin-Manuel Miranda, the Tony Award and Grammy Award-winning In the Heights, playing now through August 28, opens Aurora Theatre's 2016-17 Peach State Federal Credit Union Signature Series before heading to Theatrical Outfit September 8-18. This universal tale, a co-production with Theatrical Outfit, delivers a poignant message on the power of family and the strength of community in the face of adversity. Celebrating the life of Mexican-American superstar Selena Quintanilla-Perez, BROADWAY SINGS SELENA will welcome a starry cast of Broadway's best performers; presented at Off-Broadway's The Underground Theatre on April 1st. The show will be directed by Jay Levy. In anticipation of the show, the stars share their Selena experiences and talk about the upcoming tribute, set for the 18th anniversary of the late Tex-Mex singer's death. Watch below!
