The League of Chicago Theatres announces the long-awaited reopening of the robust Chicago theatre industry.

Chicago's leading Latinx theater company, Teatro Vista, announced today Lorena Diaz and Wendy Mateo have been tapped as the company's new Co-Artistic Directors.  

American film and TV writer, director and producer Darren Star is best known for creating many global television successes, including Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, Sex & The City and Younger along with a long list of other celebrated programs. 

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the return of live and in-person performances to its Mainstage with a production of Becoming Dr. Ruth, opening Friday, June 4, as part of the 30th anniversary summer season, Come Together.

Leading up to the premiere on Thursday, March 11 and Thursday, March 18 at 10pm ET/PT, two one-hour specials, hosted by Holly Sherman and Titus Tero, will look back at some of the past seasons’ memorable moments as well as introduce the new team members featured on the series this season.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that James Lipton, executive producer, writer, and host of the Bravo cable television series Inside the Actors Studio, has died at age 93.

Hall of Fame producer Dick Wolf and Wolf Entertainment have signed a new five-year deal to remain at Universal Television, a division of NBCUniversal Content Studios, his studio home for the past 36 years.

Kemp, President of NBCUniversal's Telemundo Global Studios, Marcos Santana, and Chairman, WarnerMedia News and Sports & President, CNN Worldwide Jeff Zucker. They will receive the prestigious award during the NATPE Miami 2020 convention during a dinner gala on January 22, 2020, at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. The dinner, with its A-list attendees, benefits the NATPE Educational Foundation, with a portion going to the Broadcasters Federation of America (BFOA). Bob Holmes is returning as Executive Producer of the show.

The Paley Center for Media today announced the first selections to its Fall 2019 PaleyLive NY season: The Amazin' 1969 New York Mets: A World Championship for the Ages and History is Made: Law & Order: SVU Celebrates a Milestone. Both programs will take place at the Paley Center's New York location in September and are presented in partnership with the New York Post.
