Al Heartley has been named managing director of the Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts by the School of Communication at Northwestern University. Heartley comes to Northwestern from the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Conn., where he served as director of development.

The Theatre and Interpretation Center at Northwestern University (TIC) presents The State(s) of America: The Regina Taylor Project, a one-weekend-only festival of student-created new works, curated by Regina Taylor. The festival runs Friday, March 4 - Sunday, March 6, 2011.

All readings are free with curtain time at 7:00 PM.

Philadelphia Theatre Company (PTC) announced today that Diane Claussen, Managing Director of the Company, will leave the organization next month to assume the role of Managing Director at Northwestern University's Theatre and Interpretation Center.
