The much-anticipated final phase of Concord Museum's decade-long $16 million renovation project will culminate with the opening of 10 new permanent galleries and a public celebration starting on Labor Day, September 6 through September 12, 2021.

Ira David Wood III’s beloved musical comedy, A Christmas Carol, will return to DPAC for six performances on December 15 – 19, 2021.  With a cast of almost 100, this wonderful holiday story is brought to life with great songs and tremendous heart.

The Olivier Award nominated stage production of The Tiger Who Came to Tea today announces an 8-week summer season in the West End for 2020, returning to Theatre Royal Haymarket following its hugely popular 2019 Christmas run. A musical play adapted and directed by David Wood OBE, based on the classic tale by the late Judith Kerr OBE, The Tiger Who Came to Tea will open in London on Thursday 16 July, playing until 6 September 2020. This will be the production's 7th West End run and marks its 12th year on stage.

David Johnson Wood joins the 'IP Man 4: The Finale' cast, which stars Donnie Yen, Scott Adkins, Chris Collins, Kwok-Kwan Chan, and Wu Yue. Additional cast includes Vanness Wu, Nicola Stuart-Hill, Jim Liu, Kent Cheng, Yue Wu, Jason Redshaw, Grace Englert, Steven Dasz, and Darren Leung. The 'IP Man 4: The Finale' film is being released in select theaters on December 20, 2019 (Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore) and December 25, 2019 (United Kingdom, United States).

From December 11th-22nd, Theatre in the Park will be presenting their 45th anniversary production of A Christmas Carol. I recently had the great pleasure of interviewing the show's playwright, Ira David Wood III, who is not only back directing this year, but he'll also be alternating the role of Ebenezer Scrooge with his oldest son, Ira David Wood IV.

I've recently had the great pleasure of interviewing actress Addie Morales, who is currently in rehearsals for North Carolina Theatre's upcoming production of West Side Story, where she'll be starring in the coveted role of Maria. Addie has previously played the role numerous times regionally at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Barrington Stage Company, Casa Mañana, and New London Barn.
