Deadline.com has reported that Disney is beginning production on 'Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure,' a spin-off from the popular 'High School Musical.' According to the report, the film deals with Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale), who attempts to make it on Broadway; however, her dog gets a job before she does.

The Society for Theatre Research (STR) are pleased to continue their exciting Lecture Programme later this month, which includes free events through to May 2010 all open to the public. David Leamon has announced his resignation as Executive Director of the Lawrence Arts Center today citing personal reasons. Leamon will work through July 30 to help assure an orderly transition while the Arts Center undertakes recruitment of a successor.
