The Old Globe's Annual Meeting was held on Monday, February 7, 2022 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Outgoing Board Chair Ann Davies welcomed the members of The Old Globe Board of Directors along with donors, subscribers, and guests, and announced the newly elected Directors serving three-year terms.

Following on the heels of the successful sold-out October run, Festival Place, Sherwood Park's place for music has announced limited, COVID-19 capacity seating for the instrumental November Café Series by Qualico Communities.

Mercury Opera will  bring outdoor opera to Edmonton once more with its newly announced “Fall by the Fireside” series.

Shields spoke about the future of the Globe and its place in the San Diego community.

Both a welcome reception prior to the meeting and a celebratory gathering following were catered by The Prado at Balboa Park for the Board of Directors and all attendees.

After a reception on Copley Plaza, Old Globe Board Chair Vicki L. Zeiger welcomed the members of The Old Globe, Board of Directors, and guests and announced the newly elected Directors serving three-year terms. Globe senior staff members presented highlights of the 2017 fiscal year, and Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein and Managing Director Timothy J. Shields spoke about the future of the Globe and its place in the San Diego community. The meeting was followed by a dessert reception catered by The Prado Restaurant for the Board of Directors, Ambassadors, and Founders-Level Donors on Copley Plaza.

Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces the regional premiere of The Open Hand, which opens April 20, 2017 on the Livia and Steve Russell Stage. This production runs through May 14, 2017, with Dale McFadden serving as director.

Stage Door Theatre will present David Jay Bernstein's delightful comedy,The Bris, The Bar Mitzvah, & Beyond, beginning February 10th.  The production will run through March 26th in the popular Margate venue's Theatre 2.
