OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today the addition of five new cast members to the ensemble of its upcoming lyrical drama "David Makes Man," the television debut from Academy Award winner Tarell Alvin McCraney ("Moonlight"). Additionally, four directors have been tapped to helm episodes of the premiere season of the series which is produced by Warner Horizon Scripted Television.

New York City actor Whit Leyenberger is celebrating his 1,000th performance in the Off-Broadway smash hit, Drunk Shakespeare. The self-proclaimed "drinking club with a Shakespeare problem," Drunk Shakespeare is an irreverent and outrageous interactive theatrical experience now in its fourth year at The Lounge at Roy Arias Stages (777th 8th Avenue). Leyenberger, an original cast member, has performed in the modern mash-up of Shakespeare, comedy, and improvisation 1,000 times as of today, Wednesday, July 18, 2018. The only cast member to have played every character in the show, Leyenberger has consumed 1,484 drinks, or roughly 17.5 gallons of Tequila during his tenure.

'Drunkle Vanya,' Three Day Hangover's daring adaptation of Chekhov's 'Uncle Vanya,' is extending at Russian Samovar, 256 West 52nd Street, through March 4. The six-character interactive and immersive production, in which the audience literally melts into the furniture of the decadently appointed Tolstoy Lounge, started an 8-week run on November 10, found its footing, and has now added eight more weeks through March 4. Adapted and directed by Lori Wolter Hudson, and produced by Three Day Hangover, with Roman Gambourg, Darren Sussman, and Misha von Shats, 'Drunkle Vanya' will open officially on Friday February 3 at 7:30pm.
