The Abingdon Theatre Company (Chad Austin, Artistic Director) in association with Jim Kierstead, will present a reading of *Rebound, a new play by Dan Haft and David Logan Rankin on Monday, November 18th at 3pm at The Vineyard Theatre* (108 East 15th Street). The reading is FREE. However, reservations are required.

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade will present Cave Theatre Co.'s production of Bertolt Brecht's The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui: A Gangster Spectacle at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue A) October 6-16 with performances Today through Saturday at8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets ($17) may be purchased in advance at www.horseTRADE.info. The performance runs approximately two hours, with a 15-minute intermission.

Playhouse on Park's first Mainstage Series show of 2016 is the award-winning production The Chosen, adapted by Chaim Potok and Aaron Posner. Opening night is January 29.

Tickets are now available for Fracture Theatre Co.'s production of URINETOWN: THE MUSICAL. The show will be recreated in it's original Off-Broadway home, The American Theatre of Actors with a cast of 23. The show will run from October 16th to the 24th with rehearsals scheduled to begin Sept. 8th.

Russ Weatherford's 'Blacker,' a new play exploring Oscar Wilde's little-known brush with the Dreyfus Affair, begins an exclusive two-week engagement on Wednesday August 26 at Urban Stages, 259 West 30th Street. DER KANARIENVOGEL (THE CANARY), a new play by Steven Carl McCasland, is running this month at New York City's Clarion Theatre. Scroll down for a first look at the cast in action!

Following critically acclaimed workshop presentations, Steven Carl McCasland's plays return to NYC in a month-long festival celebrating the young playwright. Together with The Clarion Theatre, they are presenting five plays (which started May 6th, 2015) with a company of actors performing in repertory. Pardon My English has a book by Herbert Fields and Morrie Ryskind, lyrics by Ira Gershwin, and music by George Gershwin. The production opened on Broadway on January 20, 1933 at the Majestic Theatre and ran for 43 performances.
