Weehawken High School Theater will produce Sister Act, a feel-good comedy smash based on the hit film! Performances are March 10th and 11th at 7pm followed by a Sensory Friendly performance on March 12th at 1pm.

Jackson, through his production company G-Unit Film & Television, will develop scripted dramas, live-action comedies and animated series that would air on FOX.  Series created under the deal will be owned by FOX Entertainment and produced by its in-house unit, FOX Entertainment Studios, in collaboration with G-Unit Film & Television.

Acclaimed writing team Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith (“Save Me,” “Run”) have signed on for the project that follows a retired disgraced world champion fighter drawn into the corrupt underbelly of the sport after the disappearance of his childhood best friend and training partner.

Checking out the pedigree in the Playbill for SISTER ACT, which is presented by Praeclara and Wildwood Park for the Arts, 20919 Denny Rd, in Little Rock, I knew we were all in for a treat, but...WOW! The pipes on these performers are astounding. The talent is so great in this cast, I think it seeps out the lobby doors and makes the flowers bloom along the trails surrounding the Cabe Festival Theatre. It is that good. And according to my fellow audience members, 'fun' was the adjective most used while exiting the theatre....and it was. I loved the chemistry among the distinct groups, I loved the cohesiveness with the entire production, and did I mention the music-singing and musicians-were off the charts?!

Disco diva Deloris Cartier and the Sisters of Our Mother of Perpetual Faith are getting into the Christmas habit at Mercury Theater Chicago with the final weeks of performances of the hit musical Sister Act. The critically acclaimed production, perfect for the whole family, must close on January 2, 2022, at Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N. MNM Theatre Company has announced the audition date for their upcoming production of Sister Act. Based on the Touch Pictures Motion Picture written by Joseph Howard, this hit musical with a book by Cheri Steinkellner and Bill Steinkellner (and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane) boasts music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater.
