Broadway Method Academy, a musical theater program in downtown Fairfield, Connecticut opened the smash hit, Little Shop of Horrors. The non-profit organization's mission is connecting the stars of today with the stars of tomorrow, and this production welcomed to Broadway designers Ryan Howell, Weston G. Wetzel and Kaitie Adams.

Broadway Method Academy is hosting the second annual benefit concert 'Broadway Sings". Broadway Method Academy's Executive Director, Connor Deane says the evening will be filled with top-notch talent from both BMA and New York, including some of Broadway's top performers.  Deane says, "The fundraiser's support will be dedicated to empowering students and igniting possibilities through scholarship opportunities and so much more. Your support helps attract the best and brightest talent, in turn, enriching our community and fueling the future of the arts!"

The non-profit organization's mission is connecting the stars of today with the stars of tomorrow, and this production welcomed to the company Broadway actors Grady Long (The Audience, starring Helen Mirren) and Stephanie Jae Park (The King and I, Cinderella, War Paint). The Music Man played Fairfield University's Quick Center for the Arts October 8-9. Last evening, the Palace Theater (Waterbury, CT) hosted the eighth annual Connecticut High School Musical Theater Awards, a black tie gala event that celebrates the arts and recognizes individual artistry in vocal, dance and acting performances as exhibited by Connecticut high school students. 20 schools from across the state came together to celebrate the achievement, craft and talents that make high-quality, musical theater education happen.

Presenters include Julian Decker (Les Miserables, Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame) Samantha Pollino (Hot Feet) Kimber Sprawl (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) Connor Deane (Broadway Method Academy) and many more. The gala will be hosted by Broadway veteran, Arbender Robinson (Shuffle Along, Les Miserables, Beautiful, Ragtime, Book of Mormon). Broadway Method Academy (Fairfield, CT) is a proud sponsor of the Connecticut High School Musical Theater Awards and will award two full scholarships to Best Actor and Best Actress in a Musical.

Broadway Method Academy is hosting a benefit concert "Broadway Sings!" in efforts to find a "forever home". BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.

In honor of the Muny's sold out run of LES MISERABLES, which plays its final performance tonight in St. Louis, Enjolras (Bobby Conte Thorton) and always-game Valjean (Hugh Panaro) recorded their own version of the viral video mashup of Colm Wilkinson, and a goat. Yes a goat. Check both out below!

The Muny's Les Miserables opened last night, July 15. The fifth show of The Muny's fantastic 95th Season is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander. Last seen at The Muny in 2007, LES MISERABLES has been one of the most popular musicals since it opened in London in 1985.
