The 2017 Adelaide Cabaret Festival is officially under way.

Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciaran O'Reilly, Producing Director) announced today an extension of the cell's (Nancy Manocherian, Founding Artistic Director and Kira Simring, Artistic Director) acclaimed production of CRACKSKULL ROW, by Honor Molloy. Directed by Kira Simring (Hard Times: An American Musical), CRACKSKULL ROW began previews on February 3, 2017 and officially opened February 10 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) in the W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre. CRACKSKULL ROW will now run through March 26, 2017.

Irish Repertory Theatre will present the world premiere of Larry Kirwan's REBEL IN THE SOUL.

The Irish Repertory Theatre is currently presenting Crackskull Row, through March 19, 2017. John Charles McLaughlin is featured in the double role of Young Rash/ESB Boy. McLaughlin is a resident artist at the cell and most recently performed in the production of Crackskull Row there. Cherry Lane Theatre, where COLIN QUINN - THE NEW YORK STORY has been enjoying a sold-out run for the past several months, will present a special performance to benefit Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St.) on Tuesday, January 26, it has been announced by Angelina Fiordellisi, the theater's Founding Artistic Director.

The Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciaran O'Reilly, Producing Director) presents its first production of 2016, THE BURIAL AT THEBES written by Irish Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney, based on Sophocles' Antigone.  Directed by Charlotte Moore, THE BURIAL AT THEBES will now star two-time Emmy Award-winner and Tony nominee Larry Bryggman (Proof, Picnic, "As the World Turns") as Creon, The King of Thebes (who replaces the previously announced John Cullum), and Rebekah Brockman (seen as Nettie on the acclaimed Cinemax series "The Knick") as Antigone.  THE BURIAL AT THEBES will be performed Thursday, January 14 - Sunday, March 6, 2016.
