Vermont's award-winning Weston Playhouse Theatre Company has announced its 2014 season of shows - a summer of Broadway blockbusters and exciting new works. Highlights include the world premiere of Paul Gordon's rock musical Analog and Vinyl directed by Michael Berresse, Christopher Lloyd and Campbell Scott in Annie Baker's Uncle Vanya, and Obie winner Dael Orlandersmith in her one-woman Stoop Stories.

The Center for Contemporary Opera (CCO), founded in 1982 and recognized as a leading proponent of new opera, will present the World Premiere of 'Oration' by Danish composer Ms. Line Tjørnhøj, July 26 & 27, 8 PM at the Cell Theatre, 338 West 23 Street. Music Director for 'Oration' is Lidiya Yankovskaya; Stage Director is Jeremy Bloom.

The 'invaluable' and 'indispensable' Metropolitan Playhouse--2011 Obie Award winner--presents a revival of Deep Are the Roots, by Arnaud d'Usseau and James Gow. First staged in 1945 and revived in 1960, the play now receives the first professional production in the city in over 50 years, directed by Michael Hardart at Metropolitan's home. Previews begin 3/3/12; Opening Night: 3/9/12; Closing: 4/1/12.
