Touchstone Theatre has revealed its 2023/24 season programming, a dynamic lineup featuring four unforgettable Canadian works including two long-awaited world premieres. The announcement comes with the news that this will be artistic director Roy Surette's final season with the company, citing his intention to retire as AD but continue his freelance career:

The King Center for the Performing Arts has announced that Christopher Cross coming to the Space Coast at the King Center for the Performing Arts!  The event will take place inside the L3Harris Technologies Theatre (Main Stage) on Sunday, November 12th at 8:00 PM.  

Audiences will indulge in a hilarious love letter to Broadway and revel in a worldwide sensation of Queen's most beloved rock-and-roll hits when Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) presents Something Rotten! and We Will Rock You, running alternate evenings July 2–August 27, 2022, at Stanley Park's scenic Malkin Bowl. A beloved Vancouver tradition since 1940, TUTS' early bird tickets are on sale now through June 16.

A BROADWAY HOLIDAY will play at the Gateway Theatre in Richmond, BC from December 16th to 23rd. In addition to in-person performances, A BROADWAY HOLIDAY will also have a video on-demand stream available for purchase from December 18th to 23rd for audiences to enjoy in the comfort of their own home.

Shakespeare & Company will launch its 2021 season with a production of Shakespeare's King Lear, featuring acclaimed actor and three-time Emmy winner Christopher Lloyd. Directed by Nicole Ricciardi, King Lear will run July 2 through August 29.

United Players will present the North American première of She Sells Sea Shells by Helen Eastman and directed by Sarah Rodgers.

Christopher Broughton, who is a producer at 20th Century Fox and the CEO ofMoxie Motion Pictures Inc.,has announced that Actress Aida King has been cast for the Movie, LIVE. The Hollywood suspense thriller will be filmed in the Philippines, Thailand and the US. Aida King will join what will be an A -List castfor the production ofthe film. ChristopherBroughton, in casting Aida King,said, 'There is a need for more diversity in the talent that is being groomed for film and television. Aida King's screen test was nothing short of a success and as an emerging acting talent and we look forward to developing her on screen, as she can transform into so many different looks and ethnicities.' The tall sultry and strikingly beautiful, multi lingual, Toronto Canada Native of Philippine ancestry, for her part, has come from relative obscurity to be cast in what will most likely be her breakout role in Hollywood and relishes the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry. Her previous experience was in short movies, but since her screen test, she is now up for supporting roles in several feature films that are currently in development or pre production in Hollywood.

This episode we talk about how Christopher booked his first choreography job on the ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW. We also talk about one of my favorite shows of his called, SILENCE which is a parody of the movie SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. Christopher was a huge fan of the film NEWSIES and he shares how he campaigned for the Broadway show. In the end of the episode we get to talk about his newest project with Disney, FROZEN. This episode was recorded while Christopher was on break during rehearsal for the national tour of, THE KING AND I.
