This week, July 17, marks the 117th birthday of Hollywood legend James Cagney. This very same week, CAGNEY, the new hit musical about James Cagney, plays its 117th performance at The Westside Theatre, upstairs. Among the stars who've recently come out to celebrate Cagney are Mario Cantone (Laugh Whore, 'Sex & the City'), Jerry Dixon (If/Then, Once on this Island), Lorna Luft (Guys & Dolls, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Grease 2), and Tony Award winner Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music). Disaster! producers Robert Ahrens and Hunter Arnold and Broadway Records President Van Dean today announced the release of 'Never Can Say Goodbye,' the first single from the forthcoming Original Broadway Cast Recording (out Friday, September 9, 2016), available for digital download on the label's website at BroadwayRecords.com. The classic 70's single is performed by 2016 Tony Award nominee Jennifer Simard of the critically-acclaimed new musical comedy.

The company of the critically acclaimed musical comedy Disaster! will reunite to record the original Broadway cast album on Monday, May 16.  The cast recording will be released by Broadway Records onFriday, September 9, 2016. The album is produced by Michael Croiter, Bart Migal and Seth Rudetsky, with executive producers Hunter Arnold, Robert Ahrens, Carl Daikeler, Sandi Moran and Daniel Rafinejad. The album is now available for pre-order at www.BroadwayRecords.com and on Amazon.

Just announced, Broadway's new musical comedy DISASTER! will play its final performance early on Sunday, May 8, 2016, after playing 32 preview and 72 regular performances at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41 Street).

Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of THE MOORS by Jen Silverman, directed by Jackson Gay, beginning tonight, January 29, where it will run through February 20 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, February 4.
