'Rock of Ages' star Mark Shunock's March edition of 'Mondays Dark' took place on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. at Body English Nightclub inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Following the success of last month's tribute to the rock band QUEEN, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from this week's show benefits the Shine Family Foundation and featured the music of 'The '80s - Unplugged.' Special guests included, the 'Rock of Ages' band Arsenal, Chris Phillips and Lydia Ansel of Zowie Bowie, James Mulligan, Tina Dawn from 'Absinthe,' Elise Furr from 'Jubilee,' illusionist Mark Bennick, Anne Martinez and Savannah Smith of BBR, Geechy Guy from 'America's Got Talent,' and Becca Kotte and Jason Oles from 'Rock Of Ages.' Other red carpet Vegas headliners in attendance included hypnotist Anthony Cools and celebrity magician, Murray Sawchuck, both of whom have performed at previous Mondays Dark events. Mark Shunock, who plays Lonny the narrator in the hit musical 'Rock Of Ages,' along with various Strip entertainers wowed audiences and raised thousands of dollars during the fourth edition of 'Mondays Dark' on Monday, February 17th. This monthly charity event held at Vinyl, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's intimate music venue will donate100 percent of the ticket proceeds from the Monday's show, which featured the music of Queen, to The Saint Therese Center HIV Outreach. Tonight, Monday 9/17 is the final performance for the Revolve Productions presentation of "PIECES" by Chris Phillips winner of an "EXCELLENCE IN PLAYWRITING" Award, for the 16th New York International Fringe Festival. The acclaimed play was named an early selection for this FringeNYC Encore Series. It was one of the four shows that were selected for the early announcement during the Festival, by a group of seven theatre producers led by Darren Lee Cole. The Encore performances are at the historic SoHo Playhouse at 15 Vandam Street (bet 6th Ave & Varick), NYC. Brian Zimmer directs the thought provoking drama.

Now in its 7th year, the FringeNYC Encore Series gives theatre lovers another chance at seeing some of the most critically acclaimed and most crowd-pleasing shows from the Festival. Beginning September 7th, the FringeNYC Encore Series will present 19 'Best of The Festival' shows in rotating repertory at SoHo Playhouse and The Huron Club (both located at 15 Vandam Street between 6th Avenue & Varick) as well as at The Players Theater (115 MacDougal Street between Bleecker and Houston Streets).
