This week marks the beginning of what has become an enduring tradition for Playhouse Square, as they launch their annual ?Cinema at the Square.? For the next two weeks, fifteen classic films will be revived on the second biggest screen in the Cleveland area (the local Imax is bigger but, by the same token, they aren?t going to be running ?Gone With the Wind? anytime soon) at Playhouse Square?s Palace Theatre. Fifteen dollars will get you six tickets to the films of your choice, or you can pay five dollars at the door to films that are guaranteed memories in the making.

THE RAT PACK IS BACK!, a tribute to the talented stars of the 1960s known as 'The Rat Pack,' is coming to the Shubert Theater in New Haven for a limited engagement, February 27 - March 1, 2009. Written and produced by Sandy Hackett, son of legendary comedian Buddy Hackett, THE RAT PACK IS BACK! features uncanny vocal re-creations, unbridled humor, and a hot, live big band that sends audiences straight back to the coolest time in history. 'The Rat Pack is Back' brings a sleigh full of holiday hi-jinx in their wake, restoring yuletide cheer with a songfest of classic holiday tunes performed with a sprinkling of mischievous twists and backed by a rollicking big band. Marine's Memorial Theatre December 19, 2006 to January 7, 2007.
