Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner are helping make Times Square a little pinker - and all of New York City, in fact - as they present actor Leslie Jordan in his acclaimed solo show, My Trip Down The Pink Carpet, at the Midtown Theater (163 West 46th Street) this Spring. Performances began on Wednesday, April 14, and the official opening night was Monday evening, April 19. David Galligan directs the 12-week limited engagement. BroadwayWorld was there to capture the emotional curtain call and after party.

The sensational YouTube Series comes to life on stage with direction by Vincent J. Cardinal, featuring Steve Hayes, John K. Bixler and special guest stars at each evening's performance.

GAYFEST NYC, Inc., (Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman, Producers), the country's premier producer of new LGBT-themed plays, will hold its Fourth Annual Festival, a five-week event filled with new theatre works spotlighting gay issues. This year, the Festival will include four fully-staged productions featuring professional actors, talk-backs with the authors of the Festival plays, appearances by celebrated members of the LGBT community, plus special events. All proceeds from GAYFEST NYC benefit the Harvey Milk High School. Performances are scheduled from May 6 - June 6, 2010 at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex (312 West 36th Street). West 43rd Street will become a little pinker, as will the Easter Parade (and all of New York City in general) when the actor Leslie Jordan arrives to bring his acclaimed solo show, My Trip Down The Pink Carpet, to the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street) this Spring. Producer Bruce Robert Harris announced that performances will begin on Wednesday, April 15, with an official opening night set for Monday evening, April 20. David Galligan directs the 6-week limited engagement.

On May 15th David Brendan Hopes play 'Edward The King' kicked off Gayfest NYC. The play features Jo Ann Cunningham, Chad Hoeppner, Megan McQuillan, Patrick Porter and Brian Charles Rooney. It is directed by Sidney J. Burgoyne and runs at the TBG Arts Center, 312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor through May 24th.

The evening included a performance by Emmy Award-winning actor Leslie Jordan and was be held at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street, New York, NY 10036, with a reception following.
