ABE Presents the Nashville Premiere of Wickedly Funny HAND TO GOD

Actors Bridge Ensemble's 21st season continues with the Nashville premiere of smash hit Broadway comedy, HAND TO GOD by Robert Askins, directed by Mitch Massaro, December 9-18 at the Actors Bridge Studio at Darkhorse Chapel, 4610 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, 37209. The entrance to the Chapel is on 47th Avenue.

2017's Midwinter's First Night Set for 1/8 at The Keeton

Austin Jeffrey Smith, Taylor Tracey, Jenna Pryor and Julia Nettles will share the stage as co-hosts of 2017 Midwinter's First Night, set for Sunday, January 8, 2017, at The Larry Keeton Theatre in Donelson. Midwinter's First Night is the annual presentation of First Night founder and executive producer Jeffrey Ellis' First Night's Top Ten of 2017 and the announcement of winners of the BWW Nashville Awards, voting for which continues through the end of December.

BWW Review: Music City Theatre Company's 4000 MILES

All of this is to explain why Leo Joseph-Connell, the protagonist of Amy Herzog's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play 4,000 Miles, shows up at 3 a.m. at his Grandmother Vera's apartment in the West Village of New York City, longing to renew a connection to someone who has known him since birth and who will help him find balance in his life once again, whether he admits that or not. After all, the older woman at 92 must be far wiser and more adept at dealing with the realities of life than a 21-year-old wanderer in search of solace.

Amy Herzog's 4000 MILES Upcoming for MCTC

Music City Theatre Company presents Amy Herzog's 4000 Miles, directed by Bradley Moore, at Nashville's Darkhorse Theater April 1-9. Taylor Novak, Terry Occhiogrosso, Britt Byrd and Megan Blevins star in Herzog's 4000 Miles, which is described as "a dramatic comedy," that ran Off-Broadway in 2011, and again in 2012, and was a finalist for the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
