BRAATA PRODUCTIONS has announced the revival production of Karl O'Brian Williams' THE BLACK THAT I AM, directed by Will Brown. THE BLACK THAT I AM will play a three-week limited engagement at HERE ARTS CENTER Dorothy B. Williams Theater.

Germantown Performing Arts Center has announced an upcoming performance of award-winning dance troupe Step Afrika! Ranked as one of the top ten African-American dance companies in the United States, Step Afrika! will perform their signature blend of percussive dance styles in the Duncan-Williams Performance Hall on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 2:30 p.m.

Step right up as the Auditorium Theatre presents Step Afrika! in its Auditorium Theatre debut for a one-night-only performance, Saturday January 14, 2023 at 7:30 PM.

Put your feet in motion and “step” on over to Overture Center for an evening of movement and celebration dedicated to the African American tradition of “stepping.” The international tour of Step Afrika! will perform in Capitol Theater on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m.

ArtsEmerson will bring Step Afrika! back to Boston. The company's newest work, Drumfolk, will open ArtsEmerson's 2022/2023 season with two weeks of performances from October 05 – 16, 2022 at the Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre.

The Tank announced programming for their eco-forward festivals, TrashFest and DarkFest, from Saturday July 30 – Sunday August 7, 2022. Both festivals will take place in-person at The Tank NYC.

The Town Hall & Mark Cortale have announced new dates for the concert series Seth Rudetsky's Broadway, hosted and music directed by Sirius/XM Radio star Seth Rudetsky at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street).

Step Afrika!'s powerful, pulsing, world premiere piece, Stono, highlights the spirit of resistance and activism of a part of American history that has often been overlooked. The Cincinnati Arts Association will present this 30-minute virtual experience, which will be available for streaming June 5-18. 

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has announced a newly formed three-year partnership with Washington, D.C.-based dance company Step Afrika!. The partnership will begin in Fall 2021 as part of Arena’s 2021/22 Season and continue through 2024.
