Move over Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White, there's a new fairy tale in town. And this one will have everyone in the kingdom in a tizzy. It's The Next Fairy Tale, a brand new musical by Brian Pugach opening at Celebration Theatre on March 11th.

The results are in - and three lucky writing tems have garnered the top prizes in the third annual Search for New Musicals hosted by the Academy for New Musical Theatre in Los Angeles.

Set in a future drastically altered by global climate change, TREEFALL is the story of three teenagers who have been surviving in the Pacific Northwest, trying to keep their make-shift family unit together. The arrival of a stranger with a secret unhinges the life they knew, and the vestiges of civil behavior crumble. The play re-examines how our culture sees and instills gender, identity, and family...even in a future world where these strictures have eroded.

Combining Aesop's Fables and a new twist on fable inspired storytelling, OOOOOGY GREEN AND OTHER FABLES utilizes puppets, sound, music and movement in a show that challenges audiences of all ages to find magic in the world around them.

Shepperd. A CHRISTMAS CAROL opens on Friday, November 28 and runs through Sunday, December 21st at Celebration Theatre, 7051B Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood.
