Taking place at 9:30pm on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at New York's famed The Cutting Room, a group of Broadway performers and musical theatre artists will join forces to raise money for those affected by the attack at the Ariana Grande concert on May 21 in Manchester, England. Entitled 'Total Request Live: Break Free (a night for Manchester)' this special event will feature the work of Ariana Grande, as rearranged by the creative team and artists, and will benefit the We Love Manchester United Fund.

Just last night, Sarah Ruhl was honored with the 2016 Steinberg Distinguished Playwright Award at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. The evening featured performances of Ruhl's work by Blair Brown, Kathleen Chalfant, Maria Dizzia, Jessica Hecht, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Polly Noonan and Joseph J. Parks. BroadwayWorld has just learned that the national tour of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY will be ending July 26 in Greenville, SC, after completing all of its officially announced engagements. A tour rep shared that not continuing the tour for a second season was 'a purely logistical decision for the producers.'
