Continuing October 5 and 11, Tony DeSare brings My Generation: The Contemporary American Songbook to 54 Below. Tony's brand new show celebrates the genius of writers who have expanded the Great American Songbook in recent times like Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Carole King and Michael MacDonald, as well as 'adopted' American songwriters like Paul McCartney, Elton John and Barry Gibb. Everyone knows the brilliance of the Great American Songbook - which has been performed for many years, and in many different ways. But that songbook has expanded beyond 1955 - and now is the time to celebrate other writers who have created iconic music in the past half century. As always - Tony will have some exciting new material of his own - and a few wonderful surprises to share with the audience.

Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. For four magical nights in October, the Mabel Mercer Foundation will present a sparkling array of America's leading cabaret stars. Among the 60 outstanding artists who will take the stage at the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center from October 7th through 10th are multiple Grammy Award winner Jack Jones, Marilyn Maye, Steve Ross, Karen Akers, Nellie McKay, and Barbara Carroll.

Scott Fitzgerald in his novels and stories, and directly associated with his life make up the soundtrack of an inventive new theatrical revue conceived and co-created by the jazz writer Will Friedwald, co-created and directed by Sarna Lapine, with music direction by Jon Weber. 'Tales from the Jazz Age: An F. Scott Fitzgerald Songbook' receives its world premiere in four nights from June 13 to 21 at the renowned Cafe Carlyle, a Rosewood Hotel, as part of its new Second Act Late-Night Series. Tony Lo Bianco reprises his award-winning role as Mayor Fiorello H. On Monday, October 1, the Friars Club presented 'Remembering the Oak Room: A musical tribute by its headliners.' This 90-minute program was held in memory of the legendary cabaret venue, featuring nearly a dozen A-list performers whose careers were closely associated with the nightclub in the Algonquin Hotel.
