Playwrights Horizons begins accepting entries today, Monday, August 8, for the LIVEforFIVE online lottery for $5 tickets to their New York premiere production of AUBERGINE, a new play by Susan Smith Blackburn Prize winner Julia Cho (BFE at Playwrights, The Language Archive, The Piano Teacher, Durango, The Architecture of Loss).

The Flea Theater presents the New York premiere of Ellen McLaughlin's adaptation of THE TROJAN WOMEN. It will be directed by Resident Director Anne Cecelia Haney, featuring members of The Bats, The Flea's resident acting company. Previews begin Wednesday, August 24th with opening night slated for Thursday, September 1st.

Playwrights Horizons has announced new details for its upcoming 2016/2017 Season.

The Flea Theater's Artistic Director Niegel Smith and Producing Director Carol Ostrow the fall 2016 season, which will include an A.R. Gurney World Premiere and a new look at the Greeks by Ellen McLaughlin.

MEN ON BOATS, the critically-acclaimed comedy which premiered at Clubbed Thumb's 2015 Summerworks Festival, announced today casting for its return this summer in a co-production by Clubbed Thumb and Playwrights Horizons.

Written by Bathsheba Doran (Boardwalk Empire, Smash, and Masters of Sex contributor), The Mystery of Love & Sex is a humorous and tender look at navigating relationships while attempting to define them.

There are a variety of mysteries explored in Bathsheba Doran's new play THE MYSTERY OF LOVE AND SEX. The DC-area premiere at Signature Theatre, directed by Stella Powell-Jones, bravely tackles themes of family, identity, and unconditional (and unconventional) love.

The Flea Theater is excited to welcome playwright Sarah Gancher with the world premiere of THE PLACE WE BUILT. Artistic Associate Danya Taymor (My Daughter Keeps Our Hammer, I Hate Mexicans) directs members of The Bats, The Flea's resident acting company, with music direction and arrangements by The Bengsons. Playwright Bathsheba Doran (Signature's Nest, Showtime's Masters of Sex) returns to Signature with an unexpected love story of evolving friendship, finding your own path and the value of family and was heralded as "perfectly wonderful" and "among the season's finest plays" by The New York Times. The Mystery of Love & Sex will receive its DC area premiere in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre, April 5 - May 8.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) has just announced Academy Award nominee Diane Lane will return to Broadway to play 'Ranevskaya' in a new production of The Cherry Orchard. Ms. Lane made her Broadway debut as a child, in the 1977 revival of The Cherry Orchard.

Adam Rapp's WOLF IN THE RIVER, an impressionistic glimpse into the poetry of broken people, will now run through May 16. Written and directed by Adam Rapp, featuring members of The Bats, The Flea's resident acting company.
