Grammy Award winners Bill Whelan (Riverdance) and Susan McKeown, actress and TONY nominee Kathleen Chalfant and Man Booker nominee Emma Donoghue, are among the featured artists this Fall at the Irish Arts Center.

The Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra Tours China July 2010 with Music Director and Conductor Derek Gleeson from July 6th 2010. The tour will be featuring Derek Gleeson (Conductor), Cora Venus Lunny (Violin) Celine Byrne (Soprano), Athena Tergis (Fiddle) Aidan O'Brien (Uilleann Pipes) , Peadar Townsend (Percussion) Fiona Collins (Dancer) and the legendary Frankie Gavin & De Dannan

The Irish Arts Center, a New York venue dedicated to the evolving arts and culture of Ireland and Irish America, today announced its Fall 2009 season of Performance (live music, film, literary events, theatre and dance engagements), Exhibition (at the IAC Gallery and traveling) and Education (over 27 classes in Irish language, dance and music for adults and children).
