Set in Nashville, Tennessee, it is an intriguing story based on Anton Chekhov's 'The Seagull' that deals with the complexities of human relationships. Written by Michael Kimmel, with music and lyrics by Lauren Pritchard, the show features the finest direction by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, choreography by Marc Kimelman, and musical direction by Kris Kukul.

Two River Theater Announces The Complete Cast And Creative Team For SONGBIRD

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, announces the cast and creative team for its production of Songbird, a musical written by Michael Kimmel, with music and lyrics by Lauren Pritchard, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch. The choreography is by Marc Kimelman. Music direction and additional arrangements and orchestrations are by Kris Kukul. The production will run June 9 - July 1, 2018. Songbird is presented by special arrangement with Allison Bressi and Diana Buckhantz.

Tonight, titled 'Broadway Does St. Paddy's', has company members joining forces to celebrate the 'Luck O' The Irish' and benefit VH1's Save The Music Foundation by raising money to keep music in public schools around the United States. 'Broadway Does St. Paddy's Day' is sure to be filled with music, storytelling, and most importantly, keeping arts in education.
