Indecent, the newest work by Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel (HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE), opened just last night, April 18 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues). The University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre begins its season on Sept. 30 with Dylan Thomas' "Under Milk Wood." Director Andrew Harris is working with his student cast to recreate Thomas' lyrically written, riotously funny and deeply moving portrait of the circle of a spring day in the small Welsh seaside village of Llareggub.

The University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre is announcing its 2016-2017 season, a collection of five productions ranging in style and content from the lyricism of Dylan Thomas' "Under Milk Wood" and the whimsy of Julia Cho's "The Language Archive" to the power of "Dance USM" and the wit of the Shakespeare-based opera, "The Merry Wives of Windsor." The season will conclude with a special theatre, music and visual art collaboration, "Molded By the Flow," that will hold opening nights in both Lewiston and Gorham.

USM Theater Presents OUR TOWN, Now thru 11/22

The University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre presents the second show of the season, 'Our Town' by Thornton Wilder, guest directed by Andrew Harris. Opening tonight, November 13, the show takes place at the Main Stage at Russell Hall on the USM Gorham campus, there will be a total of nine performances through November 22.
