St. Ann's Warehouse (Artistic Director, Susan Feldman; Executive Director, Andrew D. Hamingson) announces the full cast of the Donmar Warehouse's all-female production of Julius Caesar, whose American Premiere, October 3 - November 3, kicks of the 2013-14 St. Ann's Warehouse season. St. Ann's Warehouse (Artistic Director, Susan Feldman; Executive Director, Andrew D. Hamingson) will present the American Premiere of Roadkill, an immersive off-site performance that hurtles audiences into the cruel world of human trafficking. Conceived and directed by Cora Bissett with text by Stef Smith, Roadkill is the only production in Edinburgh Fringe history to win all of the festival's major theater awards, in addition to receiving the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award and Britain's 2012 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement at an Affiliate Theatre. The Evening Standard has called the work "a performance of shattering intensity."

Hamingson) is pleased to welcome back Tristan Sturrock, the leading man of Kneehigh's Brief Encounter (and a longtime member of the company), for the American premiere of Mayday Mayday. Written and performed by Sturrock, and directed by Katy Carmichael, Mayday Mayday is a “laugh out loud funny and tear-inducingly moving” (Bristol Evening Post) solo performance.

St. Ann's Warehouse (Artistic Director, Susan Feldman; Executive Director, Andrew D. Hamingson) will welcome back Cynthia Hopkins-having commissioned and presented the artist's work since 2004-for the world premiere of her new song cycle extravaganza, This Clement World. Featuring original avant-folk songs performed by a seven-piece band and a choir, documentary footage Hopkins shot on an Arctic expedition with Cape Farewell, and the artist inhabiting three fictional characters on-stage, This Clement World offers a poetic but urgent perspective on global climate change.

St. Ann's Warehouse (Artistic Director, Susan Feldman; Executive Director, Andrew D. Hamingson) extends the American premiere run of the Baxter Theatre Centre (CEO and Artistic Director, Lara Foot) production by two weeks, to December 16 (from the initially scheduled closing on December 2). This extension represents a triumphant opening of St. Ann's new theater at 29 Jay Street in DUMBO.

Theatre Communications Group Announces New Appointments to Board of Directors

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, announces new leadership of its board of directors and six new members. Lydia R. Diamond, playwright, and Diane Rodriguez, associate producer/director of new play production, Center Theatre Group, will assume the joint positions of vice president. They succeed James Bundy, artistic director, Yale Repertory Theatre and Rachel Kraft, executive director, Lookingglass Theatre Company. Philip Himberg, producing artistic director of the Sundance Institute Theatre Program, will continue to serve his term as board president. Roche Schulfer, executive director, Goodman Theatre will continue to serve as treasurer and Ralph Bryan, managing director, Bryan-Billauer-Kozo, Financial Strategies Group, Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC will succeed Olga Sanchez, artistic director, Miracle Theatre Group, as secretary.
