PBS will mark Broadway's return with Wicked IN CONCERT, a musical event celebrating the songs from one of the most iconic hits in Broadway history. This special performance will feature reimagined, never-before-heard musical arrangements created just for this broadcast, performed by celebrity artists from the worlds of film, pop music and television.

Wicked has shared a sneak peek from this weekend's Wicked in Concert! In the clip, Stephanie Hsu (Spongebob Squarepants, Be More Chill) performs a rendition of I'm Not That Girl, a song Elphaba sings in Act 1.

This Sunday finds the diminutive talent wearing yet another new hat, as Director for Sunday night’s airing of WICKED In Concert, celebrating the score of the iconic, long-running musical,

WICKED IN CONCERT: A Musical Celebration of the Iconic Broadway Score will air on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

This special performance will feature reimagined, never-before-heard musical arrangements created just for this broadcast, performed by celebrity artists from the worlds of film, pop music and television.

Frazier arranged the musical numbers featured in this star-studded concert, which include “The Wizard and I,” “Defying Gravity,” “Popular, Wonderful,” “No Good Deed,” “For Good” and “As Long As You’re Mine.”

Learn about the cast and all the scoop on the event will feature performances by Mario Cantone, Gavin Creel, Ariana DeBose, Cynthia Erivo, Stephanie Hsu, Rita Moreno, Jennifer Nettles, Alex Newell, Isaac Powell, Amber Riley, Gabrielle Ruiz and Ali Stroker.

This comes after the show was forced to close on July 4 after a cast member tested positive for COVID-19. The closure period extended on July 12 due to “a small number of isolated positive cases of Covid-19 within the company.'
