Performing Arts Fort Worth kicks off its 2014-2015 Broadway at the Bass season with the Broadway holiday musical ELF, coming to Bass Performance Hall Nov. 18-23. Tickets start at $44 and go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 3!

Matrix Theatre Company is introducing Hostel Theatre to provide a venue for those independent theatre makers that don't have one of their own. The schedule for Hostel Theatre runs from September 19 - October 12 and features BoxFest Detroit, Magenta Giraffe Theatre Company, and RUMPUSROOM, three of Detroit's professional theatres, and Jasmine Rivera, an award-winning filmmaker. NETworks Presentations, LLC, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures and Unique Features are thrilled to present two tours of the Broadway musical, ELF, during the 2014 holiday season. This holiday season marks the fourth year that ELF has entertained audiences around the nation since its 2010 Broadway debut. Playing the title role of 'Buddy' are Daniel Patrick Smith (Buddy Tour) and Eric Williams (Jovie Tour).

Matrix Theatre Company's 2014-2015 Mainstage season features a Grand Cyclops of the KKK, an African-American civil rights activist, 20th-century feminism, and a gorilla in a zoo, and we're just getting started! The feminist comedy by Gina Gionfriddo, Rapture, Blister, Burn, opens the season beginning in November, followed by Mark St. Germain's Best of Enemies, the true story of a southern town in the middle of the desegregation of their public school system. The season ends with the unique story of a woman confronting choices surrounding complications with her pregnancy and the part that a gorilla in the zoo and an elderly woman play in offering her comfort in Precious Little by Madeleine George. Individual tickets go on sale on Monday, August 18, 2014. Prices range from $15 to $20. A Season Ticket Pass may be purchased at a 20% discount.
