Here We Go Presents 24 Hour Zoom Festival

You may have seen a 24 hour play festival before, but never like this! HERE WE GO will present their very own site specific 24 hour play festival taking place entirely on the ZOOM platform. On Saturday May 3rd 2020 at 8:00pm, 5 womxn identifying playwrights will be given the challenging task of writing a short play all in 12 hours.

Otherworld Theatre presents the fifth annual PARAGON Play Fest,  the world's largest Science Fiction and Fantasy genre play festival November 9-10, 2019. PARAGON Play Fest features 40 Science-Fiction and Fantasy plays performed over 2 days. Collaborating with hundreds of Theatre Artists, locally and internationally to increase exposure for an underserved theatre genre, PARAGON Play Fest has become an annual festival and a unique part of Chicago's diverse cultural landscape. Curated by Otherworld Theatre Company's Literary Manager Elliott Sowards and Artistic Director, Tiffany Keane Schaefer for the fifth year running.  The 40 plays chosen are a small sample of over 600 submissions  from 8 different countries in 3 different continents!. BoxFest Detroit Announces 2019 Festival Schedule And Artists

BoxFest Detroit, an annual theatre festival that showcases and creates opportunities for female-identifying directors, has announced the schedule for its 2019 festival. BoxFest Detroit 2019 runs Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons and evenings, August 16 a?" 24, at Planet Ant Theatre. Planet Ant Theatre is located at 2357 Caniff, Hamtramck, MI, 48212. Admission is payable by cash and credit cards at the door with day passes for $10. A limited number of festival passes are on sale for $30 and may also be purchased at the door. In San Francisco and Los Angeles well over 1,000 audience members statewide have seen the winning 26 plays  to date. PlayGround is the only theatre company in California to have Statewide, Northern, and Southern California New Play Competitions. PlayGround's 78 Member Statewide Writers Company, primarily based in San Francisco and Los Angeles, compete to write original plays in four-and-a-half days. The tremendous diversity of California has infused the writers pool with many writers new, not only to California, but to the rest of the country as well.
