Sheffield Theatres Announces OLIVER! as Christmas Musical

Sheffield Theatres today unveils Lionel Bart's multi award-winning masterpiece, Oliver! as this year's Christmas musical. The production will go on sale to members on Saturday 18 May and to the public on Saturday 25 May, along with four new shows that will visit the Lyceum Theatre next season.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) is thrilled to announce playwright Mike Bartlett's (Artefacts in 2008) return to Brits Off Broadway with the US premiere of BULL. Produced by Sheffield Theatres and directed by Clare Lizzimore, BULL begins previews on Thursday, April 25 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 2. Opening Night is Thursday, May 2 at 7:15 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). The single ticket price from April 25 - May 5 is $35 seated, $30 standing ($24.50 - $20 for 59E59 Members). PAPER DOLLS Extends for Two Weeks at the Tricycle Theatre

Paper Dolls will, due to popular demand, extend its run until 28 April 2013. Indhu's second production as Artistic Director, which opened last week is written by Philip Himberg, Artistic Director of Sundance Theatre, in association with Stanley Buchthal and Bob & Co, Ltd, and adapted from the award-winning documentary film by Tomer Heymann.
Regent's Park Open Air Theatre Announces Summer Season

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has today confirmed their complete 2013 season. Pride and Prejudice will follow the previously announced production of To Kill a Mockingbird, whilst The Winter's Tale re-imagined for everyone aged six and over will be staged prior to The Sound of Music to complete the Open Air Theatre's 2013 summer season.
Union And Theatre503 Win At The Off-West End Awards!

Porn: The Musical won Best New Musical for its run at Theatre503 following a successful stint at Edinburgh 2009, and the Union Theatre's production of Assassins won Best Production and Best Sound Design while its production of Bells Are Ringing, starring Anna-Jane Casey, won Best Choreographer for the work of Alistair David.
