The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the full lineup of productions, concerts, readings and special events for its 11th annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 7th and continue through July 27th.

Producers of the upcoming U.S. premiere of the new musical Atomic announced today that Randy Harrison (Showtime's "Queer as Folk") has joined the cast, replacing Preston Sadleir, who will appear in the upcoming revival of Titanic. The other members of the Atomic cast are David Abeles, Alexis Fishman, Sara Gettelfinger, Jonathan Hammond, Jeremy Kushnier, James David Larson, Euan Morton and Grace Stockdale.

Committed is a dark and intensely beautiful book musical that hopes to not only entertain, but also create awareness around mental illness. The topic of mental illness needs to be more readily talked about with compassion and awareness. Committed is focused on eight people who are working through the pain of their mental illnesses at an Upper East Side psychiatric clinic during the late 80's.
