'It's What She Would Have Wanted' has joined the select group of short films being released on the popular OMELETO platform.

The film was written and directed by Addison Heimann and stars Zach Villa (American Horror Story), Devon Graye (I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore), Madeline Zima (Californication), Chris Doubek (Boyhood), Marlene Forte (Knives Out), and Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds). The film is a Minutehand Pictures production.

“It’s What She Would Have Wanted,” Dramedy Short will compete at the 29th Annual St. Louis International Film Festival, being held virtually November 5- 22nd.

'It's What She Would Have Wanted,' Short Dramedy TV pilot takes off onto the festival circuit this week beginning with Nashville Film Festival, October 1st - 7th, Mill Valley Film Festival, October 9th - 18th and LA Shorts International Film Festival, October 2nd- 31st.

The fourth annual Indie Boots Theatre Festival celebrates new short plays with underrepresented perspectives on whose stories are worth telling, what's funny, and how the world works. From hilarious comedies to thoughtful dramas, from angsty realism to sci-fi adventures, the plays and their characters grapple with love, feminism, LGBTQ communities, friendship, history, intricacies of language, activism, and a missing vibrator.

Pride Films and Plays is delighted to announce the winner of our 2015 Great Gay Screenplay contest is Somebody to Love by Jay Cipriani. The victor was selected Sunday, November 15 at the conclusion of PFP?s Gay Film Week in the Hoover-Leppen Theatre of Center on Halsted. The weekend included enhanced staged readings of the top five scripts, including A Place in the Woods by Erik Gernand, Finndale by Lloyd Ohls, Drowning City by Chuck Griffith, and The Gay Shoe Clerks by Brad Cryan. The week also commenced on Monday, November 9 with Queer Bits Fall Film Festival II at the Public House Theatre. The festival included two programs comprised of 11 short films all having their Chicago premieres and included a talkback with Chicago filmmaker Dan Pal, whose short Another Party with Scotty was featured in the festival.
