DELIA - ROLE IS CAST. 60s. A successful writer grieving the death of her husband and sister. When she writes a humorous New York Times Op-ed piece about her experience she is reunited and falls in love with a man she had dated as a young woman. Their romance unfolds during her treatment for a life-threatening cancer.
PETER - ROLE IS CAST. 60s. A successful and intrepid Jungian psychotherapist and writer who reaches out to Delia when he reads her New York Times Op-ed piece. His devotion and commitment to Delia sees her through her difficult treatment.
FEMALE IDENTIFYING TRACK – ROLE IS CAST. 60s. Various doctors and friends who are a part of Delia's world including:
DR. ROBOZ: a brilliant oncologist -- a doctor with a touch of girlfriend.
DEENA: Delia’s age, screenwriter & novelist, rabid Dodger fan, a California woman, very pulled together, precise, thoughtful.
JULIA: Delia’s age; English, a writer, theatrical.
JESSIE: A little younger than Delia. A writer/director, soulful: both compassionate and tough, spiritual and earthy.
ROSIE: A Verizon representative
ALICE: Delia’s age; 100% Berkeley, a practicing psychologist
