Riverside Center for the Performing Arts is thrilled to bring to life the two time Tony Award winner musical "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical." This amazing show will run from Wednesday, September 18 through November 10, 2024. Before she was hit-maker Carole King — she was Carole Klein, a spunky, young songwriter from Brooklyn with a unique voice. From the chart-topping hits she wrote for the biggest acts in music to her own life-changing, trailblazing success with Tapestry, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical takes you back to where it all began — and takes you on the ride of a lifetime. Winner of two Tony Awards and featuring beloved songs including “I Feel the Earth Move,” “One Fine Day,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “You've Got a Friend,” and the title song, “Beautiful”, she made more than beautiful music, she wrote the soundtrack to a generation.
Book by Douglas McGrath, words and music by Gerry Goffin and Carole King andBarry Mann & Cynthia Weil, music arrangement with Sony/ATV Publishing, orchestrations, vocal and incidental music arrangements by Steve Sidwell. Additional Music Arrangements by Jason Howland.
Cast information will be announced in August of 2024.
