Siyasanga Cape Town Theatre Company will be presenting Roy Sargeant's popular Beginners' Playwriting Workshop at the Artscape Theatre Centre over two weekends, 05, 06 March and 12, 13 March. The workshop introduces delegates to the basic techniques of playwriting and includes writing exercises together with DVDs of famous plays as examples of great playwriting.

Back in 2015, we reported that there was a reading of THE STING that took place around early August. We now have new information that the Araca Group will hold a new reading of the musical, directed again by John Rando. The reading will take place February 22nd to the 26th, with music and lyrics by Mark Hollman and Greg Kotis and the book written by Bob Martin.
