Lyrics for Life to Benefit AFSP on World Suicide Prevention Day Kids of the Arts just presented Lyrics for Life on Wed September 10. The one-night only performance was held at Peter Norton Symphony Space, located at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street, New York, NY. A celebration of music and dance, the event featured talent from Broadway, TV, film and dance. Cameron Ocasio(Nickelodeon's "Sam & Cat", Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) and Saddie Seelert hosted. Taking place on World Suicide Prevention Day, the event aims to encourage understanding and support of suicide prevention and awareness. Proceeds will benefit The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
The event is Produced and Directed by KOTA's Artistic Director, Laura Luc. Kids of the Arts (KOTA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, dedicated to creating innovative entertainment for audiences of all ages. KOTA strives to inspire children & teens to follow their passion, and make a positive impact on the world. Every year, KOTA donates to charities locally and throughout the world.
