Throughout the summer, actors and members of the creative team for the upcoming Broadway production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time have been visiting QSAC's (Quality Services for the Autism Community) programs for students with Asperger's Syndrome. The visits have been a part of an effort by the show's production team to gain a deeper understanding regarding the life experience of young adults with Asperger's, their families, and their educators. Scroll down for a photo!

Actors participating in the visits included Alexander Sharp (Christopher Boone) and Taylor Trensch, who plays Christopher at certain performances. Both actors met with QSAC students to research the role of Christopher, a 15-year-old boy who is believed to be on the autism spectrum. Actresses Enid Graham and Francesca Faridany who play Christopher's mother and teacher respectively, spoke with parents and teachers of QSAC's students to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be the parent or teacher of a child on the autism spectrum.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time begins previews on September 10, 2014 at The Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).
