The new musical, MACBETH, will open at The Players Theatre on September 5, 2014 for its strictly limited Off-Broadway premiere. Below, check out a first look at the show's stars, Tyler Nye and Dominic Sellers, in just-released publicity images!

Macbeth will be directed by Christian Amato (Barbicide, Bitch) and choreographed by Emily Maddan, with original music by Eric Fletcher. Inspired by William Shakespeare's play, MACBETH brings this classic tale Off-Broadway full of the frenetic energy and fatalistic attitude of the prohibition era.

MACBETH transforms the timeless story ambition, conspiracy and betrayal into a new musical of romance, eroticism and decadence that amplifies a bloodthirsty cycle of corruption.

The photos were styled and taken on location at Bathtub Gin, New York City's most decadent speakeasy!

This powerful tragedy is full of the frenetic energy and fatalistic attitude of the prohibition era. Vaudeville and burlesque performers transport you back to the Jazz Age of the 1920s, in a world rife with superstition and witchcraft, Macbeth must contend with his conscience after a deadly conspiracy is set in motion. Tickets are on sale now online at The Theatre Project website or by calling 212-475-1449. The production runs September 5 through October 4, 2014 at The Players Theatre (115 Macdougal Street between West 3rd and Minetta Lane).
