Earlier this week, the cast of FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: COMES OUT SWINGING gathered at Barnes and Noble to celebrate the release of their 2014 Un-Original Cast Album. The cast recently finished their run at the Davenport Theatre. The cast album is now available in stores and online. Click here to see more coverage of the release party!

BROADWAY SINGS JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE was the sixth in the Broadway Sings concert series. Complete with a full jazz band as well as original orchestrations, over a dozen Broadway performers came together to perform at (le) Poisson Rouge. The talent featured at the concert included this year's Tony Award winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Ciara Renee (Pippin), Andy Mientus (LES MISERABLES), and many more! Legendary musician and Disney composer Phil Collins visited the cast of Broadway's ALADDIN this week. The cast stars Adam Jacobs as Aladdin, Courtney Reed as Princess Jasmine, and Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart as the Genie, who stops the show with his energetic and upbeat performance in "Friend Like Me." FINDING NEVERLAND began previews this week at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, under the direction of Tony Award winner Diane Paulus. Starring Jeremy Jordan and Laura Michelle Kelly, the show is set to end its A.R.T. run in late September, though the production is eyeing a spot in the upcoming Broadway season. The New York Civil Liberties Union's annual benefit concert BROADWAY STANDS UP FOR FREEDOM was held earlier this week at NYU's Skirball Center for Performing Arts. Special guests and performers included Lena Hall, Barrett Foa, Seth Rudetsky, Bryce Pinkham, Celia Keenan-Bolger, and many more. Click here to see coverage of this special evening!

Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez recently joined the cast of the 2013 Tony Award winning production of PIPPIN in the role of Berthe. Lopez, a PIPPIN alumni, was a replacement for the role of Fastrada in the original Broadway cast of the show. She also appeared in the original Broadway cast of A CHORUS LINE. Earlier this week, the Middleweight World Champion boxer Gennady Golovkin, accompanied by legendary announcer Michael Buffer, made cameo appearances at Broadway's ROCKY. This week, two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone previewed her new concert at 54 Below. Lupone recently made an agreement with 54 Below that calls for her to perform at Broadway's supper club twice yearly in two-week engagements through 2016.
