The company of Cabaret gathered at Sardi's today to celebrate the official portrait unveiling for stage and screen star Alan Cumming. BroadwayWorld was there and brings you a sneak peek at the caricature below! And be sure to check back later for our full coverage!

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Joe Masteroff, John Kander and Fred Ebb's Tony Award-winning musical CABARET, starring Tony Award winner Alan Cumming and Golden Globe winner Michelle Williams, officially opened on Thursday, April 24, 2014. Cabaret features a book by Joe Masteroff, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. It is based on the play by John Van Drutenand stories by Christopher Isherwood.

The cast also includes two time Tony nominee Linda Emond as Fraulein Schneider, four time Tony nominee Danny Burstein as Herr Schultz, Bill Heck as Cliff, Aaron Krohn as Ernst and Gayle Rankin as Fraulein Kost. The Cabaret Kit Kat Klub boys & girls are: Will Carlyon, Kaleigh Cronin, Caleb Damschroder, Benjamin Eakeley, Andrea Goss, Leeds Hill, Kristin Olness, Kelly Paredes, Jessica Pariseau, Dylan Paul, Jane Pfitsch, Evan Siegel, and Stacey Sipowicz.

The production is co-directed by Academy Award-winner Sam Mendes (director) and Academy Award nominee Rob Marshall (co-director/choreographer). The design team includes set and club design by Robert Brill, costume design by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Peggy Eisenhauer and Mike Baldassari and sound design by Brian Ronan. Patrick Vaccariello is the musical director.
