Known for her performance as Sue Sylvester on the hit show "Glee," Jane Lynch is set to make her solo concert debut at 54 Below this weekend. Kate Flannery ("The Office") is joining Lynch in performances. Broadway World was able to watch one of Lynch's rehearsals this week. Click here to see more coverage of Lynch's rehearsal!

The off-Broadway smash hit HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL celebrated its album release at Barnes and Noble this week with a special performance. This fan favorite is based off of the 1989 cult film "Heathers." The cast album is now available in stores and for digital download. Click here to see more photos from the event!

The new musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" recently won four Tony Awards, including the award for Best Musical! This week, the Tony Award officially "came home" to the Walter Kerr Theatre where the show has been running since its official opening in November. Fans were invited to stop by the theatre and pose for photos with the actual Tony Award. Click here to see more photos of fans with the award and the cast!

This week, producer Sylvia Steiner was honored with a caricature at the famous Sardis restaurant. In addition, Joseph Benincasa, the president and CEO of the Actors Fund honored her on the group's behalf. "To know Sylvia is to love her," said Benincasa at the event. This week, Broadway World premiered "The Lord and the Master," their fourth concert at Joe's Pub. The evening featured songs from two of the most popular and influential Broadway composers to date: Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The concert was directed by Pat Cerasaro, with music direction by Broadway veteran Mat Eisenstein. Click here to see more coverage!

Following the recent decision to eliminate the Sound Design awards from the competitive categories at the Tony Awards, several members of the Broadway community have expressed their frustration towards this decision through social media and silent protest. Manhattan Theatre Club held to world premiere of "When We Were Young and Unafraid" this week. Written by Sarah Treem and directed by Tony winner Pam MacKinnon, the play stars Tony winner Cherry Jones, Obie Award Winner Cherise Boothe, Patch Darragh, Zoe Kazan, and Morgan Saylor. The play is running through August 10th in a strictly limited engagement. Click here to see more coverage of opening night!

Directed by Kenny Leon, who won a Tony Award less than two weeks ago for his direction of revival "A Raisin in the Sun," HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME opened this Thursday at the Palace Theatre. The musical features the music of the late Tupac Shakur and tells the story of inner-city dwellers and their struggles. This is the Broadway show to open for the 2014-2015 theatre season.
