Bryan Cranston, best known for his Emmy-winning performance as Walter White on AMC's hit series "Breaking Bad," was honored with a caricature at Sardi's this week. Cranston made his Broadway debut earlier in the season in "All the Way" and received a Tony nomination for his portrayal of United States President Lyndon B. Johnson. Sierra Boggess, currently starring in "The Phantom of the Opera," West End favorite Kerry Ellis, and the original star of the West End's production of "Avenue Q," Jon Robyns, visited the Staveley Theatre Academy to mentor students planning to pursue theatre as a career. The Academy operates on the weekends and offers classes to students as young as seven years old. Click here to see more pictures!?

This Tuesday night, the Bay Street Theater's Premiere of "Conviction" opened, with a limited run through June 15th. The production stars Sarah Paulson ("American Horror Story") and Garret Dillahunt ("Raising Hope"). The two actors recently worked together in the 2014 Oscar-winning film "12 Years A Slave." This year, BroadwayWorld was honored with the Award for Excellence in Theatre Arts Education at the 2014 Theatre Museum Awards. BroadwayWorld is currently the largest Broadway news site, covering Broadway, Off-Broadway, West End, and international theatre spanning over thirty-five countries. Mark Fisher's two-night engagement of concert "These Boots Were Made For Rockin'" helped to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA). The concert, which featured the talents of several cast members from the hit musical "Kinky Boots," specifically went to support the upcoming "Broadway Bares: Rock Hard" benefit. The acclaimed "Buyer and Cellar," a solo-show about the odd job of working in Barbra Streisand's basement, recently welcomed Barrett Foa as their latest cast member. Foa, star of "NCIS: Los Angelas" and Broadway veteran, replaced Christopher J. Hanke. The show is written by Jonathan Tolins and is directed by Stephen Brackett. Tony-Award winner Katie Finneran made her nightclub debut this week at 54 Below with her concert, "It Might Be You - A Funny Lady's Search for Home." Finneran's concert not only included a wide variety of songs, but it also offered insight on her background in theatre, Hollywood, and personal life. Actress Andréa Burns directed her longtime friend's show. Click here to see more coverage!

Based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic novel, the limited run of "A Little Princess" ran at the Hudson Guild Theatre this past week.
