Clint Holmes brought his critically acclaimed show "This Thing Called Love" to Landmark On Main Street on May 10th. The Landmark on Main Street was formerly the Main Street School, which was in operation from 1909 - 1985. It was saved from demolition through an an amazing community effort. The renovated multi-use building includes four not-for -profit groups, each of which provides services to it's region, as well as 59 low-income senior citizen apartments for the Port Washington area. The theater has become the cultural gem of the community and a regional gem on Long Island. The season runs from October through June and is comprised of more than 35 events. Norm Lewis and Jarrod Spector are among the many Broadway artists who will be appearing his season at Landmark. Recently the Gold Coast Arts Center partnered with Landmark to host the tribute to 95 year old songwriter and Long Island native Ervin Drake.
