Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long present the New York premiere of The Few, written by Samuel D. Hunter and directed by Davis McCallum, at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place. The official opening night was last night, May 8. Scroll down for photos from the festivities!

Four years ago Bryan abandoned his labor of love, a newspaper for truckers. Now he's returned--with no word of where he's been--and things have changed. His former lover is filled with rage, his new coworker is filled with incessant adoration, and his paper is filled with personal ads. As he considers giving up for good, Bryan searches for what he couldn't find on the road: a way to keep faith in humanity.

The cast of The Few is Gideon Glick, Michael Laurence, and Tasha Lawrence.

The set design for The Few is by Dane Laffrey; costume design is by Jessica Pabst; lighting design is by Eric Southern; sound design is by Daniel Kluger; properties design is by Andrew Diaz. The production manager is Eugenia Furneaux; the production stage manager is Katie Young.

The Few plays Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday at 7pm; Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8pm; Saturday at 3pm at 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South. Individual tickets are now available and may be purchased at www.rattlestick.org or by phoning OvationTix at 866.811.4111.
