The Baron's Men are proud to contribute to Shakespeare's enduring legacy by bringing the tragic tale of ROMEO AND JULIET to Richard Garriott's Curtain Theater, with the riveting performance and stunning period costumes that have become trademarks of Baron's Men productions. Audiences will be entranced as the story of the Montague/Capulet feud unfolds, and as Romeo and Juliet's passion evolves, and the intensity of their struggle to be together incites a feverous storm impacting friends and family alike, with tragic consequences. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Romeo and Juliet, one of William Shakespeare's best-known and most beloved works, was penned and first performed at the end of the sixteenth century, and has remained enormously popular throughout the ages. This tragic tale of star-crossed lovers, with its themes of love, family, passion and Fate vs Free Will have entertained, enthralled and inspired audiences for centuries.

Juliet, the only child of the patriarch of the Capulet family, is courted by a potential husband but instead falls in love with Romeo, son of Lord Montague, sworn enemy to Lord Capulet. Despite the hate that surrounds them, the lovers' passions soon prove overwhelming, though fate and family command they remain apart. Ultimately, their joy turns to anguish as death takes one, then the other as these lovers will not be parted, even in death.

The cast of Romeo and Juliet features Casey Jones (Romeo), Lindsay M. Palinsky (Juliet), Chris Casey (Lord Capulet), Leanna Holmquist (Lady Capulet), Laura Trezise (Nurse), Jimmie Bragdon (Tybalt), Maria Latiolais (Gregory/2nd Musician), Levi Gore (Sampson/1st Servant/Watchman), Joanna Casey (Petra/Page), Edwin Wise (Lord Montague/Apothecary), Christina Peppas (Lady Montague/Rosaline), Ameer Mobrark (Benvolio), Michael Pratt (Balthazar/1st Musician), Michael Osborn (Abraham/2nd Servant/Friar John/Watchman), Eva McQuade (Mercutio), Samantha Smith (Friar Laurence), Stephen Cook (Prince Escalus), and Darren Scharf (Paris).

The crew features Liegh Hegedus (director), Hanna Haide and Julius Horvath (producers), Katrina Anderson (stage manager), Dawn Allee (costume designer), Stephanie Nelson (music director), Edwin Wise (props master), Toby Minor (stage combat choreographer), Jimmie Bragdon (fight captain), and Dawn Allee and Christina Peppas (dance choreographers).

Show dates and times are Friday - Saturday, April 4 - 12 and Thursday - Saturday, April 17 - 26 at 8 p.m. Pre-show market opens at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for Thursday nights and $15 for Friday and Saturday nights. For the first time, The Baron's Men will be offering hot and cold food options that can be pre-ordered online. Hot-plates are available by pre-order only.
