54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, welcomed two-time Tony Award winner Lillias White, Ben Platt, Naturi Naughton, Katie Thompson, two-time Tony Award nominee Robin de Jesús and more for "Who We Are: The Songs of Lyons & Pakchar" last night, April 14. Contemporary musical theatre composers Douglas Lyons and Ethan Pakchar showcased original music from their Pop/R&B catalogue. BroadwayWorld was there and brings you photos from the sold-out concert below!

The evening featured performances by leading Broadway artists, including Lillias White (The Life, Fela), Ben Platt (Pitch Perfect, The Book of Mormon), Naturi Naughton (3LW, Notorious, Fame), Katie Thompson (Giant), Robin de Jesús (In The Heights), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Mykal Kilgore (Motown: The Musical), Nic Rouleau (The Book of Mormon), Felicia Boswell (Memphis), Julia Mattison (Godspell),Tamika Sonja Lawrence (If/Then), Daniel Torres (Evita), John Brink (LES MISERABLES), Nik Alexander (Priscilla Queen of the Desert tour), Bradley Greer (Altar Boyz tour), Melody Madarasz (Mr. Chickees Funny Money), J. Hoard and more. With back-up singers Rashidra Scott (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Olithea Anglin (Something Major), and Darius Harper (The Book of Mormon tour).

"Who We Are: The Songs of Lyons & Pakchar" featured musical direction by Alvin Hough (Motown) and was produced by Matthew Masten (Of Mice and Men, Buyer & Cellar) and Marianne Mills (Of Mice and Men, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical).

Lyons & Pakchar began collaborating while touring with The Book of Mormon. Douglas Lyons, who handles lyrics and music, currently appears in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and has performed in Pageant, Rent, and Dreamgirls. Guitarist and composer Ethan Pakchar, who has played for the Broadway productions of Wicked, The Book of Mormon and Newsies, provides orchestration and additional music.Lyons & Pakchar's debut album #Love (Live) mixes pop, R&B and theatre to explore the good, bad and awkward roller coasters in human relationships. They are hard at work on two full-length musicals including 79' and an untitled musical about the The Five Points.
