Two time Tony Award winning Broadway legend, opera and concert soloist Judy Kaye opened the Cabaret Series at Helsinki on Broadway in Hudson New York March 22nd. BroadwayWorld was there for the event- check below for photos!

Lee Tannen and his partner Tom Wells have been hosting some of Broadways best performers at the beautifully restored factory space on Columbia Street in Hudson for the past 2 years. Helsinki Hudson owned and operated by Deborah McDowell and Mark Schafler, features an eclectic entertainment mix along with a menu of creative rustic New American cuisine by Brooklyn Food movement pioneer Chef Hugh Horner. Helsinki, was founded in 1995 by Deborah, whose grandfather operated the Hotel Helsinki in Finland. Most of the Broadway Series gets sold out quickly, and the next performer to be on the Helsinki stage will be 5 Time Tony Nominee and Tony winner (Barnum) Jim Dale in his new one man show "Just Jim Dale". Jim will be performing his show on Sunday, April 6th at 7 PM just prior to it's 12 week Off Broadway run in New York City.

Some of the Broadway stars appearing at Helsinki this season are: Jim Dale (April 6th), Randy Graff (May 25), Terri White (June 29th), Linda Lavin (July 19th), Charles Busch (August 31st), and more.
