Powerhouse vocalist and former American Idol Finalist, Melinda Doolittle, performed her latest live show "It Must Be Love" last night at New York's 54 Below. In an intimate evening featuring Melinda with her three-piece band, audiences saw Doolittle as never before. Bringing her soulful tones and bright spirits in tow, Doolittle's latest offering ran the musical gamut from Blues to Broadway, reminding audiences why they fell in love with her on "America's Most Watched Stage". Miss Doolittle's next performance is tonight March 20th at 9:30

Melinda was last seen by New York audiences in 2011 in her critically acclaimed show "Love 101" at Feinstein's at Loews Regency. Doolittle's new show will include world premiere live performances of songs from her latest album "You're The Reason". As she dissects the topic of love from every angle, Doolittle boldly enters territory in both story and song like never before. Audiences will harken back to a time when "blues" and "soul" were more than just adjectives and learn what keeps Melinda on the journey through lyrics and life..."It Must Be Love".

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, is the new performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife. A few blocks from the heart of Times Square and just below the legendary Studio 54, 54 BELOW is a classically designed state-of-the art nightclub in the theatre district that hosts audiences with warmth and style. The venue provides a food and beverage menu from early evening through the wee hours of the morning that is worthy of the world-class entertainment on the stage. In their description of 54 BELOW, The New York Times writes "the club has the intimacy of a large living room with unimpeded views and impeccable sound; there is not a bad seat. Its sultry after-hours ambience is enhanced by brocade-patterned wall panels planted with orange-shaded lanterns. And the atmosphere is warmer and sexier than in Manhattan's other major supper clubs." Located at 254 West 54th Street, 54 BELOW features up to three shows nightly with cover charges ranging from $15-$95.
