The Des Moines Community Playhouse presents the world's most popular musical, "LES MISERABLES," Mar. 21-Apr. 13. Revolution and romance. Good and evil. "LES MISERABLES" is an epic struggle between two idealistic men, set against a backdrop of political unrest. Scroll down for some exclusive photos of the cast in action!

Jean Valjean (Steve Berry) has been unjustly imprisoned for 19 years. Now free, his only path to an honest life begins by breaking parole. Javert (Maxwell Schaeffer) is the obsessive policeman who dedicates his life to bringing the convict to justice. Revolution is in the air and Cosette (Katy Merriman), the orphan Valjean has vowed to protect, has found love with Marius (Stephen Brandt), a student revolutionary.
